Early life and career beginnings
Prince Olumuyiwa Alalu, who is better known as sLim Prince, is a Nigerian artist who was
born in Agege, Lagos to a mother of 3 on 29th December 1991.

At age 10, He started on the journey to fulfill his childhood dream of become a General
in a military school which he later on failed to complete but he instead groomed his
singing abilities through singing amongst his school mates and in almost no time Prince
became to school entertainer where he sometimes performed for the over 4 000
students and soldiers.
At 17 sLim Prince moved to Gothenburg, Sweden with the intention of furthering his
education in the Swedish Army Academy but leaving Nigeria made him realize that
music was his calling and he instead went on the study World contemporary music and
Music production in University of Gothenburg.
He released his first single on YouTube at the age of 20 and thereafter a mixtape of 20
In 2018 Prince released the biggest song in Uganda alongside award winning Swangz
Avenue diva Winnie Nwagi which won a nomination at Hipipo awards for best
collaboration, also an official remix of Nigerian superstar Wizkid’s Soco which scooped
more a million streams on Spotify and iTunes.
In 2019 sLim Prince release 5 singles and his debut album in Swedish language called
Dorcas. He toured 12 cities in UK, Sweden, Macedonia, Norway and Denmark with his
album tour which was sold out.
His debut album (which is the first afrobeat album in a Scandinavian Language ) is
currently nominated for Rhythm of the year at the Swedish prestigious Manifest Gala.
sLim Prince has shared stage with the A-List performers in Africa and Europe alongside
Patoranking, Burna Boy , Davido, Timaya, Tekno , Tiwa Sage, Kapten Röd, Astar,
Sneakbo, Yemi Alade, Chronixx ,etc
